Sustainable Design
LEED gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings' performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
What Our Team Can Do For You

About LEED
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.
Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and launched in 1998, the LEED program outlines standards for environmentally sustainable construction in five key areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Through these standards, LEED aims to promote global adoption of an integrated, whole-building approach to sustainable green building and development.
Both new construction and existing buildings may apply for LEED certification, granted to qualifying projects at four different levels: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Specific rating systems exist for several different categories of commercial and institutional buildings, including LEED for New Construction, LEED for Existing Buildings, LEED for Commercial Interiors and more.
